George and Other Masons: Conversation on a founding family's legacies

Hear author Richard MacMaster, expert on founding father George Mason IV, his family, and their American era, in conversation with historian George Oberle, director of George Mason University's Center for Mason Legacies, in a free program presented by CML and the Historical Society of Fairfax County. MacMaster's The Five George Masons: Patriots and Planters of Virginia and Maryland. from the university's Mason Publishing Group, traces five generations of the Mason family in Virginia and Maryland.

The event will take place on campus in the Main Reading Room (Room 2001, second floor) of the Fenwick Library. Paid parking is available in Rappahannock River and Mason Pond parking decks.
