Unveiling: Commemorating the Pines Community in Pine Ridge Park

Reflections, music and new signage recall an erased Black community.

Fairfax County Park Authority, in partnership with stewards of The Pines memory including Pines descendant and CML Community Historian Marion J. Dobbins, honors the county's African American heritage through new historical signage. Community member reflections and a musical tribute will mark the occasion, at Pine Ridge Park.
