Virginia Legal History, Reconstruction and the Freedmen's Bureau, Local History
Georgia is a first-year PhD student is U.S. History and the lead archivist at the Fairfax Historic Records Center. In her archivist role, she is an affiliate with the Center for Mason Legacies where she works closely with professors and students to integrate local primary sources into history courses and projects. Her consultant and reference work has led her towards her research interests examining the relationship between Freedmen's Bureau agents and local county courts in the south.
